This Tuna Wrap is a quick, healthy, and flavorful meal perfect for lunch or a light dinner. It combines flaky water-packed tuna with creamy Greek yogurt, tangy Dijon mustard, fresh lemon juice, and crunchy vegetables, all wrapped in a whole grain tortilla for a satisfying and balanced bite.

Ingredients

Scale

Tuna Filling

  • 1 can water-packed tuna (5 ounces), drained
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped celery
  • 3 tablespoons finely diced red onion
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Wrap Assembly

  • 2 whole grain tortillas
  • 1/2 cup chopped lettuce (romaine or spinach)

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine the drained tuna, plain Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, fresh lemon juice, chopped celery, diced red onion, salt, and black pepper. Use a fork to mix everything thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly combined. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  2. Assemble wraps: Lay each whole grain tortilla flat on a clean surface. Place a generous amount of chopped lettuce in the center of each tortilla, spreading it evenly to create a fresh base for the tuna filling.
  3. Roll and serve: Spoon the prepared tuna mixture over the bed of lettuce in each tortilla. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it tightly from one end to the other to form a wrap. For easier eating, slice the wrap in half. Serve immediately to enjoy the fresh flavors and crunchy texture.

Notes

  • You can substitute Greek yogurt with mayonnaise for a richer flavor.
  • Add sliced avocado or tomato for extra creaminess and nutrients.
  • Use gluten-free tortillas if you need a gluten-free version.
  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or some chopped jalapeños.
  • The wrap is best eaten fresh but can be wrapped in foil and refrigerated for up to one day.
