Ripe Banana:
Fresh Strawberries:
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries (or frozen strawberries, thawed)
Plain Yogurt:
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt (unsweetened and unflavored)
Honey (optional):
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional, can be omitted if you want to keep it sugar-free)
- Prepare the Ingredients: Slice the banana into small pieces and chop the strawberries into small chunks. If using frozen strawberries, make sure they are thawed first.
- Blend the Mixture: Place the banana, strawberries, and yogurt into a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. If desired, add a tablespoon of honey for sweetness, but make sure it’s safe for your dog (optional).
- Fill the Molds: Pour the mixture into ice cube trays, silicone molds, or silicone cupcake liners. You can also use a mini muffin tin for bite-sized portions.
- Freeze the Bites: Place the filled molds in the freezer for about 2-3 hours, or until completely frozen and firm.
- Serve and Store: Once the bites are frozen, remove them from the molds and store them in an airtight container or a freezer bag. Keep them in the freezer for up to 2-3 weeks. Serve one or two as an occasional treat for your dog.
