This refreshing Orange Cinnamon Iced Tea is a perfect blend of citrusy orange, aromatic cinnamon, and black tea, creating a delightful chilled beverage for any occasion.

Tea:

  • 4 cups Water
  • 4 Black tea bags or 4 tsp loose leaf

Orange Infusion:

  • 1 Orange (large)
  • 2 Cinnamon sticks
  • 2 Star anises (optional)

Sweetener and Garnish:

  • Honey or sugar (optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • Orange slices (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil the Water: Boil the water in a saucepan. While waiting, zest the orange to get about one teaspoon of zest.
  2. Steep the Tea: After the water boils, remove from heat and add tea bags, cinnamon sticks, and orange zest. Cover and steep for 5 to 8 minutes.
  3. Prepare the Orange Juice: Juice the orange while the tea is steeping. After steeping, remove tea bags, strain the tea, and stir in orange juice and sweetener.
  4. Chill the Tea: Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until completely chilled.
  5. Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour chilled tea over the ice, and garnish with orange slices and cinnamon sticks or star anise. Enjoy!
