Ingredients

Scale

Crust

  • 13.29 ounce package Oreo cookies, divided use
  • 4 Tablespoons salted butter, melted

Filling

  • 8 ounce block cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 8 ounce tub whipped topping, thawed (such as Cool Whip)

Instructions

  1. Chop Cookies: Chop 10 of the Oreo cookies into large chunks and set them aside for later use in the filling.
  2. Process Remaining Cookies: Place the remaining Oreo cookies into a food processor and process until they form fine crumbs.
  3. Prepare Crust: In a medium bowl, combine the cookie crumbs with the melted butter and stir until the mixture is well combined.
  4. Press Crust: Firmly press half of the crust mixture into the bottom of an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch baking dish. There is no need to spray the dish with cooking spray. Place the dish in the freezer while you prepare the filling.
  5. Mix Cream Cheese and Sugar: Using an electric hand mixer or the paddle attachment of a stand mixer, beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  6. Add Condensed Milk and Vanilla: Mix in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  7. Fold in Whipped Topping: Gently fold the thawed whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until there are no white streaks remaining.
  8. Stir in Chopped Oreos: Carefully fold in the chopped Oreo pieces to evenly distribute them throughout the filling.
  9. Assemble Filling: Spread the cream cheese and whipped topping mixture evenly over the prepared Oreo crust in the baking dish.
  10. Add Topping: Sprinkle the remaining cookie crumbs over the top of the filling to create a crunchy topping layer.
  11. Chill Dessert: Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow the dessert to set properly. For best results, chill overnight.
  12. Serve: Slice into squares and serve chilled. Enjoy your creamy, no-bake Oreo dessert!

Notes

  • You can substitute regular Oreo cookies with gluten-free Oreo alternatives if needed.
  • Ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature to prevent lumps in the filling.
  • Thaw the whipped topping completely before folding it into the filling for best texture.
  • Press the crust firmly into the pan to help the dessert hold together when sliced.
  • Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
