Crust
- 13.29 ounce package Oreo cookies, divided use
- 4 Tablespoons salted butter, melted
Filling
- 8 ounce block cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 8 ounce tub whipped topping, thawed (such as Cool Whip)
- Chop Cookies: Chop 10 of the Oreo cookies into large chunks and set them aside for later use in the filling.
- Process Remaining Cookies: Place the remaining Oreo cookies into a food processor and process until they form fine crumbs.
- Prepare Crust: In a medium bowl, combine the cookie crumbs with the melted butter and stir until the mixture is well combined.
- Press Crust: Firmly press half of the crust mixture into the bottom of an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch baking dish. There is no need to spray the dish with cooking spray. Place the dish in the freezer while you prepare the filling.
- Mix Cream Cheese and Sugar: Using an electric hand mixer or the paddle attachment of a stand mixer, beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add Condensed Milk and Vanilla: Mix in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Fold in Whipped Topping: Gently fold the thawed whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until there are no white streaks remaining.
- Stir in Chopped Oreos: Carefully fold in the chopped Oreo pieces to evenly distribute them throughout the filling.
- Assemble Filling: Spread the cream cheese and whipped topping mixture evenly over the prepared Oreo crust in the baking dish.
- Add Topping: Sprinkle the remaining cookie crumbs over the top of the filling to create a crunchy topping layer.
- Chill Dessert: Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow the dessert to set properly. For best results, chill overnight.
- Serve: Slice into squares and serve chilled. Enjoy your creamy, no-bake Oreo dessert!
Notes
- You can substitute regular Oreo cookies with gluten-free Oreo alternatives if needed.
- Ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature to prevent lumps in the filling.
- Thaw the whipped topping completely before folding it into the filling for best texture.
- Press the crust firmly into the pan to help the dessert hold together when sliced.
- Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
