Mini Holiday S’mores Pies are delightful individual-sized treats perfect for festive occasions. They combine creamy melted milk chocolate with a touch of whipped cream in graham cracker crusts, topped with toasted miniature marshmallows and colorful holiday sprinkles for a fun, seasonal twist on a classic s’mores dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

Crust

  • 6 miniature graham cracker crusts

Filling

  • 3/4 cup DairyPure Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 11 ounces milk chocolate chips

Topping

  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 1 tablespoon red and green sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Heat the cream: Heat the whipping cream in the microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds and stir well. The cream should be hot to the touch but not boiling to ensure it melts the chocolate properly.
  2. Melt the chocolate: Place the milk chocolate chips in a small mixing bowl and pour the hot cream over the chocolate. Stir continuously until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Fill the crusts: Pour the chocolate mixture into the miniature graham cracker crusts, filling each one up to the top for a generous filling.
  4. Chill the pies: Place the filled pies in the refrigerator for 1 hour to allow the filling to firm up and set properly.
  5. Toast the marshmallows: Remove the pies from the refrigerator and evenly distribute the miniature marshmallows on top of each pie. Place them under a broiler for 2 minutes to toast the marshmallows, watching carefully to prevent burning. Alternatively, use a kitchen torch for toasting.
  6. Add festive sprinkles and serve: Sprinkle red and green sprinkles over the toasted marshmallows to add color and serve the pies immediately for best taste and texture.

Notes

  • Keep a close eye while toasting marshmallows to avoid burning as they toast quickly under the broiler.
  • You can substitute the milk chocolate chips with semi-sweet or dark chocolate if preferred.
  • If you don’t have a broiler, a kitchen torch works perfectly for toasting marshmallows.
  • Serve immediately after topping to enjoy the contrast of toasted marshmallows and creamy chocolate filling.
  • Store leftover pies in the refrigerator and consume within 2 days for best freshness.
