  • 1 lb Flat Iron steak (thinly sliced against the grain)
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Aminos
  • 1 tsp Root ginger, peeled and grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic, chopped

For the Broccoli:

  • 1/2 lb Broccoli (cut into small florets)
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Oil
  • 1 tsp Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 1 tsp Fish Sauce

Instructions

  1. Cut the Flat Iron Steak: Slice the steak thinly against the grain.
  2. Marinate the Beef: Marinate the sliced beef in a bag with coconut aminos, ginger, and garlic for 1 hour in the fridge.
  3. Drain and Reserve: Drain the beef from the marinade, reserving the liquid for later use as the stir-fry sauce.
  4. Blanch the Broccoli: Boil the broccoli for 2 minutes, then drain well.
  5. Stir-Fry the Beef: In a wok or skillet, stir-fry the beef until browned, then remove from the pan.
  6. Stir-Fry the Broccoli: Stir-fry the broccoli until crisp-tender, then add the reserved marinade and cook for 2 minutes.
  7. Combine and Serve: Return the beef to the pan with the broccoli, warm through, and add fish sauce and toasted sesame oil before serving hot.
