Hazelnut Butter:

  • 2 cups hazelnuts (240g)

Additional Ingredients:

  • 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup sweetener of choice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice or 2 tbsp oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Roast Hazelnuts: Preheat oven to 400 F. Roast hazelnuts for 6-8 minutes until slightly browned. Rub them in a paper towel to remove skins.
  2. Make Hazelnut Butter: Blend roasted hazelnuts in a food processor or Vitamix until they turn into butter.
  3. Add Ingredients: Add vanilla extract, cocoa powder, sweetener, and salt to the hazelnut butter. Blend until smooth.
  4. Optional Step: If desired, blend in milk or oil for creaminess.
  5. Store: Transfer to a jar and store in a cool, dry place.

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness level by adding more or less sweetener.
  • For a vegan version, use dairy-free milk or oil.
