Dough:

  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough

Pumpkin Filling:

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice

Additional:

  • 2 Tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • whipped cream for dipping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the filling: In a small bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, maple syrup, and pumpkin spice.
  3. Assemble: Unroll the crescent dough and cut it into two rectangles. Spread the pumpkin mixture on one rectangle and top with the other. Cut into strips, twist, and place on the baking sheet.
  4. Brush and sprinkle: Brush melted butter over each twist and sprinkle with a sugar and cinnamon mixture.
  5. Bake: Bake at 375F for 8-11 minutes until golden brown.
