Ingredients

Scale

Oatmeal Base

  • 1 cup Rolled oats
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1/4 tsp Sea salt

Banana Mixture

  • 1 medium Banana (ripe)
  • 1/2 cup Cottage cheese
  • 2 tbsp Besti Brown Monk Fruit Allulose Blend (to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon

Toppings

  • 1/4 cup Walnuts (chopped; optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the oats: In a medium saucepan, combine the rolled oats, water, and sea salt. Cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oats become soft, fluffy, and the water has mostly evaporated.
  2. Prepare the banana blend: While the oats cook, add the ripe banana, cottage cheese, Besti Brown Monk Fruit Allulose Blend, and cinnamon to a blender. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Combine and heat: Stir the smooth banana mixture and the chopped walnuts (if using) into the cooked oats in the saucepan. Heat the combined mixture for 1-2 minutes over medium heat to meld the flavors and warm the nuts.

Notes

  • You can substitute the cottage cheese with Greek yogurt for a different texture and flavor.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less of the brown monk fruit blend according to your taste preference.
  • For a vegan version, replace cottage cheese with a plant-based yogurt or silken tofu.
  • Walnuts can be omitted or swapped with other nuts like almonds or pecans.
  • Make sure the banana is ripe to maximize natural sweetness and flavor in the blend.
