  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

For the Alfredo:

  • 1 lb. Mafaldine noodles (or fettuccini/linguini noodles)
  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 68 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1.5 cups shredded parmesan cheese
  • 4 tablespoons blackened seasoning, divided
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: garlic bread, Texas toast or garlic knots for serving

Instructions

  1. Pound and Season Chicken: Pound chicken to 1/4 inch thickness, rub with oil and season with blackened seasoning.
  2. Cook Chicken: Sear chicken in a skillet until cooked through, then set aside to rest.
  3. Prepare Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, make the alfredo sauce by melting butter, sautéing garlic, and stirring in cream and seasoning.
  4. Combine and Serve: Toss cooked noodles in the sauce, top with sliced chicken, and serve hot with additional seasoning if desired.
