  • 1/2 kilo squash (grated)
  • 200 grams small shrimps
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 large onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • cooking oil

Squash Okoy Cooking Procedures:

1. Mix the squash, shrimp, flour, egg, onion & salt to form batter

2. Deep fry until it floats or become crispy.

Squash Okoy Sauce:

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon blackpepper
  • 3 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Procedure:

Mix all the ingredients.

    I highly suggest adding water to the mixture.

    1cup of flour and 1 egg will not form a batter, but instead; a dough.
